Jun Cedo's Blog

  • Hello once again, golfers!

Congratulations to Juvic Pagunsan for getting back his winning streak! With his confidence really up, he could be in track to winning maybe in the Asian Tour or even in the European Tour.

In Junior World News, big cheers to our very own Andy Unson, Princess Superal, and newcomer Jed Dy (who is under the tutelage of my brother Mike Cedo) - for winning in their respective age divisions at the San Diego Junior Masters held at Carlton Oaks.

  • Hello golfers! I am writing to you this blog entry because of three things. Three positive and exciting things.

  • Congratulations to GDAP (Golf Distributors Association of the Philippines) for holding the annual golf show at the SMX Convention Center last September 24-26! THANK YOU to everyone who dropped by the A Round Of Golf booth! For more inquiries like tournament coverages and sponsorships you may contact Ms. Sarita Limjap. Remember we are the only locally produced Golf Show here in the Philippines!

  • To start off Season 7, we at A Round Of Golf would like to welcome Mr. Jack Imperial as he now takes on the Executive Director position with the Junior Golf Foundation of the Philippines! We expect only good things for the coming years! JUNGOLF has also moved into a new office at the Makati Golf Club.

We are also very pleased to announce that Mike Besa has joined the A Round of Golf family! Catch his segment entitled “Golf Talk with Mike” as he chats with the experts about current golf news, equipment and everything else under the sun that is Golf.

  • 2011 started off with a BANG within the local Golf community as we have been witnessing golf tournaments left and right. Chihiro Ikeda won The Philippine Ladies Open which was held last January 12-14 at The Country Club. Not far behind were Dottie Ardina, Jayvee Agojo, and young stars Mia Legaspi and Sam Bruce. A few days later, Angelo Que bagged not only the title of 2011 TCC Invitational Champion held last January 27-30, but also the bragging rights as the first millionaire for 2011! We also saw great playing from Marvin Dumandan, Juvic Pagunsan, and Tony Lascuña.
